Position Summary:
The Student Interns will play a vital role in supporting Arts First Afterschool Filmmaking Club students as they delve into the captivating realm of visual storytelling. By actively engaging with participants, the interns will contribute to the formation of production teams that craft compelling short films. Their invaluable assistance will help nurture the students’ artistic talents and guide them throughout the filmmaking process, culminating in the creation of impressive final works.
Position Tasks:
- Create anti-vaping video
- Create an anti-vaping presentation to present to the class
- Assist in the daily operation of Arts First filmmaking class;
- Organize and direct all aspects of filmmaking and social media video production;
- Operate or coordinate the operation of lights, audio, and camera equipment;
- Manage post-production workflow on all video projects, including video/audio editing and color correction;
- Assists the Lead Instructor with developing strategies to achieve Film Team production goals and objectives;
- Facilitate and assist the team and individual team members to identify Film Production work tasks;
- Conduct weekly group meetings to record and update tasks, assignments, and define group goals;
- Maintain a record of team member contacts and learning goals.
- Consistently maintain and communicate the importance of confidentiality among Arts First staff, volunteers, interns, students, and involved businesses and entrepreneurs.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass background checks;
- Must be legal to work in the United States;
