Description:
Join Arts First Create Films Summer Camp and discover the power of visual storytelling.
This hands-on program immerses youth in the fundamentals of filmmaking, emphasizing film as a dynamic two-dimensional visual art form. Campers will explore key elements of production—including acting, dance, lighting, screenwriting, sound design, and Foley art—while gaining experience with professional tools like DaVinci Resolve 18 and Logic Pro. By the end of the camp, each participant will have created original digital films that reflect their unique voice and vision.
Upon completing the camp, students will have gained a solid understanding of basic filmmaking terminology, how to operate a camera, and how to edit videos using DaVinci Resolve. As part of their final projects, students will form film crews and work collaboratively to create short films that showcase their newfound skills and creativity.
