Arts First: Create Films Program

Afterschool Filmmaking Club at ECC

Sponsor: TPCHD, Arts First, & Metro Parks
Where: Eastside Community Center
When: Fridays 3:30-5:00.   January 27 – May 26
(First Day of Class is January 27th.  Interns will meet starting January 20th)
Who: Students 12-18 years old
Cost: Free
Limited Space: 16 students

Club Summary: Students will explore the fundamental of film-making. They will be introduced to the Fine Art of visual story-telling; screenplay writing, cinematography, music, Foley, lighting, storyboarding, acting, and video and sound editing. Students learn and edit in Davinci Resolve 17, Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro. Arts First will provide all necessary equipment.

After the end of class, students will learn basic filmmaking terminology and create anti-vaping short films to enter in a film contest.
