Amara Students’ Short Films

Discover the power of visual storytelling!
Perfect for youth from Puyallup, Lakewood, Spanaway, and Graham.

Amara is excited to partner with Arts First this July to offer a FREE filmmaking camp for youth ages 11–18! Participants will learn the art of visual storytelling through live-action filmmaking and stop-motion animation. In addition to filmmaking, this program will help participants develop leadership, self-advocacy, and coping skills. The camp will include small- and large-group activities, social-emotional learning, and opportunities to connect with other young people.

We are unable to provide transportation. Families must arrange drop-off and pick-up for their child.

Lunch will be provided.
