Instructor: Junke Hu – junke@artsfirst.org

Bio:

Junke graduated from the University of Washington in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Art, concentrating in traditional painting and drawing. She has continued practicing drawing and painting since graduation, with a particular interest in representational and figurative work. Beyond technical training, her practice has shaped the way she sees and experiences the world, teaching her to look more closely and with greater curiosity. She hopes to create a welcoming environment where students can develop their observational skills, experiment freely, and discover their own ways of seeing and expressing themselves.
